Crescent Wrapped Drumsticks

- 8 chicken drumsticks or 16 "drumettes" shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce shopping list
- 1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 2 teaspoons parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning shopping list
How to make it
- Remove skin from drumsticks or drumettes.
- In large skillet, melt butter.
- Add barbecue sauce and stir to combine.
- Add chicken and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until chicken juices run clear.
- Remove from skillet and cool slightly.
- Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. If using drumettes, cut each triangle in half forming 16 triangles.
- Brush with egg and sprinkle with cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Place chicken with the "meaty" portion almost at point of triangle.
- Wrap dough around with bone sticking out of long side of triangle.
- Brush with remaining egg and arrange on greased rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- **If you want to kick up the flavor, cook chicken in 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup chicken stock. Drain and dip in hot wing sauce before wrapping in dough.
