How to make it

  • (1) Cut the onion into thin slices and saute them until caramelized
  • (2) While the onion is cooking, peel and core the apples. Cut the apples into rough, 1 cm pieces, no need to be precise though.
  • (3) Add apples to onions and cook enough for the apples to absorb some of the onion juices.
  • (4) In a separate pan, heat veggie oil
  • (5) To put together one samosa-Wet the edges with water or egg, put a few pieces of the onion/apple mixture in the middle, along with a dime sized amount of chevre and a few cilantro leaves. pinch edges together and cook in hot oil.
  • (6) Have a paper towel ready to put the cooked samosas on to help absorb some of the excess oil. Then eat.

    I made samosas years ago and they were very good....this one, while a completely different filling makes my mouth water! Great post...thanks!
