Savory Apple Samosas

- Ready-made samosa wrappers shopping list
- 2 apples shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 1 bunch cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 cup chevre, maybe more depending on what you like (can be omitted for vegans) shopping list
- enough vegetable oil to coat the pan shopping list
How to make it
- (1) Cut the onion into thin slices and saute them until caramelized
- (2) While the onion is cooking, peel and core the apples. Cut the apples into rough, 1 cm pieces, no need to be precise though.
- (3) Add apples to onions and cook enough for the apples to absorb some of the onion juices.
- (4) In a separate pan, heat veggie oil
- (5) To put together one samosa-Wet the edges with water or egg, put a few pieces of the onion/apple mixture in the middle, along with a dime sized amount of chevre and a few cilantro leaves. pinch edges together and cook in hot oil.
- (6) Have a paper towel ready to put the cooked samosas on to help absorb some of the excess oil. Then eat.
