PORK STEAK MUSHROOM DELIGHT IN THE CROCK POT DATED 1942
This recipe came my from my Aunt Barbara's collection that I inherited when I inherited the family collection in 1980. I have never made this but my sister has and she highly recommends it.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork steak cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large white onion sliced
- 1 green bell pepper cut into strips
- 10 fresh mushrooms chopped
- 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Brown pork in oil in skillet then drain on double paper towel.
- Place pork and all remaining ingredients into crock pot then cover and cook on low 6 hours.
- Serve over hot buttered noodles.
