How to make it

  • Beat the margarine, sugar, flour, eggs and baking powder and make a batter and place in a greased cake tin
  • Bake 200 °C for 10-15 minutes.
  • In the meantime prepare ,cook the pudding mix with milk and sugar .
  • Stir the Schmand.
  • Remove the the cake from the oven and spread with the cooked pudding and bake again for about 10-15 minutes .
  • Remove from oven and cool
  • Meanwhile, drain cherries, reserve the juice distribute cherries on cooled on the cake .
  • Add enough water if needed to the cherry juice to make 3/4 liter.
  • Combine with the glaze mix and boil thick.
  • Spread over the cake
  • Let cool and chill
