GARLIC CREAM CHEESE SPREAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Greene Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream at room temperature
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped scallion

Directions
  1. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, salt and garlic powder in a large bowl and stir until smooth.
  2. Stir in scallions then serve on crackers or toasted bagels.
