Strawberry Short Cut Shortcake

This makes for pretty, and fun cake. While the marshmallows bake to the top, the fruit sinks to the bottom!!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows shopping list
- 1 yellow or white cake mix shopping list
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg's. strawberries, thawed shopping list
- 1 (6 oz.) box unprepared strawberry Jell-o shopping list
How to make it
- Oil the BOTTOM of a 9 x 13" pan. Spread marshmallows evenly on bottom. Pour prepared cake mix over marshmallows. In separate bowl, combine strawberries and Jell-o. Spoon evenly over cake mixture. Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Note: marshmallows rise and strawberries sink.

LMG this sounds sublime! So easy and fun - Just one question; Do we add the *dry* jello to the strawberries and proceed or should the jello be prepared and the strawberries tossed into that? I can't wait to try this - gets my ^5!
