This makes for pretty, and fun cake. While the marshmallows bake to the top, the fruit sinks to the bottom!!

I thought a nice addition might be some sliced almonds on top - mmmm toasted nuts! Will try that next time, because yeah, I'm gonna be making this again - SOON! LOL

LMG this sounds sublime! So easy and fun - Just one question; Do we add the *dry* jello to the strawberries and proceed or should the jello be prepared and the strawberries tossed into that? I can't wait to try this - gets my ^5!

Sounds so good.Thanks!

I should have mentioned earlier that I edited this recipe to show that it takes dry/unprepared jello, so that there are no misunderstandings. I let madmommy know right away. Sorry everyone, I'm usually careful about that. Hugs and Blessings. - Linda

The only pic I forgot to take was of the cake just before going into the oven with the strawberries on top. I will be posting "cut piece" pictures tomorrow.
This could not have been easier to make and it smells incredible while baking!! :) Can't wait to taste it!!

Oh wow, madmommy, almonds do sound good. I don't know whether they would stay on top, though. They might sink down with the strawberries. ??? Add them towards the end of the baking period maybe.
Thank you so very much for addition of the pictures!! It adds so much to the recipe. You're so sweet. Hugs. - Linda
