How to make it

  • Add all ingredients into the 1 lb can
  • Put lid on and secure with duct tape
  • Place 1 lb. can into 3 lb can
  • Layer with crushed ice and rock salt, place lid on and duct tape to secure
  • Sit on ground and roll back and forth with someone 3 or 4 feet apart. Roll 10 minutes
  • Check to see if hard yet, if not, replace lids and roll for 8 to 10 more minutes

    I've done this with groups of kids already. They love it!! We used 2 different sizes of zip lock bags--kneed the bags carefully. Just make sure the bags seal well, if your salt gets in the bag of mix--it's done. I've thought about looking for 2 rubbermaid canisters in different sizes to try this, but I've never gotten around to it. Maybe it would work for you.

    I have noticed that some of the "generic" or off brands of coffee are still in the cans--maybe you'll find the cans yet.
