Baked Feta With Marinara Recipe
Feta doesn't melt but baking makes it creamy and spreadable.If you can find them,use fire roasted tomatoes;just add a pinch of basil,a pinch of oregano and a minced garlic clove.

  • 1tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves,minced
  • 1(14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes with basil,oregano and garlic,drained
  • 1(4oz)pkg crumbled feta cheese
  • cooking spray
  • 32(1/2" thick)slices diagonally cut French bread baguette(about 1lb.),toasted

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine first four ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Sprinkle feta evenly into a 6" gratin dish or small shallow baking dish coated with spray. Top with tomato mixture. Bake 350 for 20 mins. Serve as a spread with bread slices
