Pistachio Cream Sauce Recipe
This sauce is delicious over pasta, hot or cold. You can also put it on top of steak, chicken, fish.. whatever, it's an everything sauce! :)

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c unsalted Pistachio Nuts, ground corsely (use blender)
  • 1/2 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 c Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 c Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
  • Salt, Pepper and Crushed Pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Heat Olive Oil in Saucepan
  2. Saute Onions until Translucent (not carmelized)
  3. Add Pistachios and enough Olive Oil to lightly coat
  4. Cook for about a minute, they should not change color
  5. Add cream until heated throughout
  6. Remove from heat
  7. Add seasonings to taste
  8. Serve over anything you like, I make it with Tomato Basil Fetticcine
  9. Put grated cheese on top and mix in.
  10. Enjoy! :)
