french onion soup

- 3-lrg yellow onions(sliced in thin circles) shopping list
- 2-tblspn unsalted butter shopping list
- 2-tblspns flour shopping list
- 4-dashes worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2cup cabernet sauvignon shopping list
- 1-box beef stock shopping list
- fresh ground pepper shopping list
- water shopping list
- 1 French bread shopping list
- swiss cheese(sliced) shopping list
- parmessiano reggiano(shredded) shopping list
How to make it
- in stock pot add bbuter then sliced onions on medium slowly brown onions,then add flour til blended in about a minute,then add worcstershire sauce,beef stock and pepper,and equal box of water to stock,bring to a boil and simmer ,when simmer starts add wine.
- take oven safe bowl spoon in soup cut thick piece of french bread lay in middle of soup,lay 2 slices swiss cheese on bread and shredded parmessiano reggianoplace on middle shelf under broiler and watch til cheese slightly turns golden brown
- take out let cool for 5 minutes and serve

This is so much better than my bland version. I like that you use a good wine and i use plenty of good fresh parmesan cheese and the best French bread I can find. Thanks for this great recipe!
