Old Fashioned Raisin Pie Recipe
Another raisin pie,but couple different ingredients. Best served warm.

Ingredients
  • 2 cup raisins
  • 2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • pastry for double 9" crust

Directions
  1. Combine raisins and water boil 5 min.
  2. Blend sugar,cornstarch cinnamon,and salt. Add to raisins.
  3. Cook stirring until clear. Remove from heat. Add vinegar butter and cool slightly.
  4. Turn into pastry line pan, add cover pastry either whole or in strips.
  5. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
