How to make it

  • Sift dry ingredients except sugar
  • Cream butter and sugar
  • Blend in vanilla seeds
  • Add eggs one at a time
  • Alternating add dry ingrdients with milk
  • Blend well but do not over beat
  • Divide batter into two greased and floured round 8 inch cake pans
  • Bake in a preheated 350F oven until done about 40 minutes
  • Cool on rack, remove and fill and frost as desired
