How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a small saucepan heat water and butter until butter melts.
  • Pour mixture into an ungreased rectangular cake pan.
  • Stir in brown sugar and coconut then sprinkle marshmallows and nuts over the top.
  • In a saucepan over low heat melt chocolate with water.
  • Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off.
  • Combine chocolate, flour, sugar, soda, salt, sour cream, butter, vanilla and eggs.
  • Beat with hand mixer for 3 minutes on medium speed.
  • Carefully spoon batter over coconut marshmallow mixture.
  • Place pan on foil or cookie sheet to guard against spillage then bake 50 minutes.
  • Invert onto a serving platter and allow to cool then serve.
