From Taste of Home Test Kitchen via allrecipes, these patties use parsnips in place of some of the bread crumbs normally used in fish cakes. The parsnips add moisture, fiber and extra nutrition.

I thought the same as you, Steff! The Dill Sauce could be used on just about anything. I'm glad you like it.

To be honest, the dill sauce is what grabbed me, too! **LOL** It sounds so good....as do the patties. This is a winner. Thanks for a great share. - Linda

Maybe I should have just posted the Dill Sauce, huh? We have THREE votes for the dill sauce so far, Linda and I'll bet the tally rises. Thanks for your 5.

Hey, I've made that dill sauce, too! I got the same recipe out of an old community cookbook, and it's great with fish, tuna or crab patties, on a baloney sandwich, you name it. Or with just a spoon, like I... I mean, I don't know who would do that! You can still post the sauce separately - the one I found was called Dilled Mayonnaise.
