Chicken And Dumpling Casserole Recipe
Found this one in my Mom's recipes. I don't know where she got it. This casserole has a great flavor.

Ingredients
  • 8 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup dry wine
  • 2 tsp minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
  • 2 cups whole grain biscuit mix
  • 2/3 cup skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill

Directions
  1. Add chicken thighs, broth, wine and garlic to cooker and
  2. cook for 6 minutes under high pressure.
  3. Reduce pressure quickly under cold water.
  4. Combine biscuit mix, milk, and dill and drop large spoonfuls into boiling chicken broth.
  5. Cook uncovered for 6 minutes.
  6. Serves 4.

Sounds like a pure comfort food to me! The dumplings sound easy and yummy!


Blue this sounds like a Pennsylvania Dutch recipe I have, and it is wonderful....:)


Sounds absolutely fabulous, of course I'll have to try this without a pressure cooker. I agree with gagagrits it does sound very similar to a Pennsylvania Dutch recipe, can't go wrong there, (-; ... thanks for sharing.
