Low Country Boil

- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 pound kielbasa per person shopping list
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp in shell per person shopping list
- 3 small new potatoes per person shopping list
- 1 ear corn per person shopping list
- 1 carrot per person quartered shopping list
- 1 small onion per person shopping list
How to make it
- Boil water in a very large steam kettle on stove or on an outdoor cooker.
- Season water with herbs and spices.
- Pour in lemon juice and vinegar.
- Add sausage, potatoes, carrots and onions then bring to boil and boil for 25 minutes.
- Add corn and boil for 5 minutes longer.
- Finally add shrimp and simmer for 5 minutes more.
