How to make it

  • Sauté onion and green pepper in oil for 2 minutes then add rice and stir until well coated.
  • Add tomatoes, turmeric, cumin, salt, garlic powder and water then bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer covered, for 20 minutes then add cilantro and serve.
