I love the bacon wrapped prunes, The sweetness from the prune, the hickory savory flavor and the texture of soft prunes and crisp bacon also is great.

Ingredients
- Hickory smoked bacon ( Turkey bacon is fine )
- Pitted soft dried prunes
- OR
- Pitted soft dates
- OR
- soft Figs
Directions
- Roll the bacon around the prunes, date or fig
- Broil till bacon is browned
- Secure each with a toothpick and place on serving tray
- Variation: may stuff the fruit with a cream cheese/chutney mixture

My dad makes these and we all love them! He puts chicken livers in the prunes before wrapping them with bacon. We call them Devil's on Horseback. No clue why we call them that but we do! Yummy!!!
