sausage Orzo Stufing With Celery Cranberries And Pecans

- 1tbl spoon of butter shopping list
- Jimmy Dean sausage i used the maple one shopping list
- 1 tbls spoon of olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup of diced onion shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup diced celery shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup orzo pasta cooked in chicken brooth and drained if using as a stuffng make eldente shopping list
- 3/4cup dried cranberries shopping list
- 3/4 cupsliced toasted pecans or walnuts almonds could work shopping list
- 3 tbsp sliced fresh baisil shopping list
- zest from half a lemon shopping list
- 2 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1/8 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter with olive oil in medium skillet over medium high heat add onion
- cook 4 minutes or until onions are translucent and golden brown
- add celery cook 4 more minutes
- cook and crumble the sausage.
- combine orzo
- celery mixture cranberries nuts basil and lemon juice and zest
- toss gently to combine.
- either eat as a side dish or stuff in a chicken or cornish hens and bake .
