Marsha Lillys Snow Beets

This recipe was given to me by a southern woman who used to come into the office. Different and delicious

Melt butter,add flour to make a roux,add vinegar and next 4 ingredients,bring to boil,add beets and heat.
Add cream and sour cream to mixture,heat gently and pour over beets.
Serve hot
