Ingredients

5 med. beets or 2 ilb. cans of sliced or shoe string beets,drained

2Tbs butter

2Tbs flour

2tbs. vinegar

1Tbs sugar

1/8tsp salt

1/4tsp dillweed,fresh and chopped

1/8tsp pepper

1/2c sour cream

3Tbs light cream or half and half

Directions

Melt butter,add flour to make a roux,add vinegar and next 4 ingredients,bring to boil,add beets and heat.

Add cream and sour cream to mixture,heat gently and pour over beets.

Serve hot
