Salted Caramel Sauce

- 1c sugar shopping list
- 1/2c heavy or whipping cream shopping list
- 11/2Tbs unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- In large,heavy skillet,cook sugar over med heat,swirling the pan occasionally,until sugar completely dissolves and syrup is light amber color,about 8 mins.
- Remove pan from heat;gradually whisk in cream. (Mixture will bubble vigorously). Whisk till smooth. Whisk in butter and salt till butter melts. Let cool till warm. Makes 1 cup
