Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe
Wonderful caramel sauce with a sweet-salty taste. We love it!

Ingredients
  • 1c sugar
  • 1/2c heavy or whipping cream
  • 11/2Tbs unsalted butter
  • 1/2tsp salt

Directions
  1. In large,heavy skillet,cook sugar over med heat,swirling the pan occasionally,until sugar completely dissolves and syrup is light amber color,about 8 mins.
  2. Remove pan from heat;gradually whisk in cream. (Mixture will bubble vigorously). Whisk till smooth. Whisk in butter and salt till butter melts. Let cool till warm. Makes 1 cup
