Walnut Crusted Orange Roughy Recipe
A crispy,crunchy crust and moist,tender fish makes this recipe a winner. The dipping sauce is sweet salty and pairs well with walnuts.

Ingredients
  • 4 fresh or frozen orange roughy fillets,thawed(5oz. ea.0
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 1/4c flour
  • 1 egg,beaten
  • 1c finely chopped walnuts
  • 3Tbs seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1Tbs sesame seeds
  • 1Tbs dried parsley flakes
  • 2Tbs butter
  • 1/4c honey
  • 11/2tsp soy sauce

Directions
  1. Sprinkle fillets with salt and pepper. Place flour and egg in seperate shallow bowls. In another shallow bowl,combine the walnuts,bread crumbs,sesame seeds and parsley. Dip fish in flour,egg and then walnut mixture.
  2. In large skillet over med heat,cook fish in butter in batches for 2 to 3 mins. on each side or till fish flakes easily with fork.
  3. In small bowl, whisk honey, and soy sauce;serve with fish

This sounds so good... I have not tried orange roughy but I'm told it is really and nice tasting fish... I love the addition of the sesame seeds... ^5
