Grilled Portobello And Roasted Pepper Burgers Recipe
A great healthy alternative to beef burgers!

Ingredients
  • 4 portabello mushroom caps---stems removed
  • 4 tsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 jarred roasted red pepper halves
  • 2 whole wheat buns
  • 2 Tbsp. pesto sauce--I use store bought
  • 4 pieces of greens--your choice

Directions
  1. Preheat grill pan over medium heat. Grill mushrooms 8 minutes, turning halrway through and brushing with vinegar. Warm pepper halves and buns on the grill pan.
  2. Spread each bun with half of the pesto. Place pepers, mushrooms, and greens on buns. If desired drizzle with addtional balsamic vinegar.

The addition of the balsamic is wonderful with these.
