Turkey And Potato Soup With Canadian Bacon

- 1Tbs canola oil shopping list
- 11/2c chopped onion(about 1 large) shopping list
- 1c chopped celery shopping list
- 2 carrots,halved lengthwise and thinly sliced(about 1c) shopping list
- 1 oz. Canadian bacon or pancetta shopping list
- 3c chicken broth shopping list
- 3c chopped cooked turkey(about 1lb) shopping list
- 21/2c mashed cooked peeled baking potatoes shopping list
- 1Tbs chopped fresh sage shopping list
- 1/4tsp fresh ground pepper shopping list
- sage sprigs(optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in dutch oven over med. heat. Add onion,celery,carrots and bacon;cook 6 mins,stirring occasionally. Add broth,turkey,,potatoes,and chopped sage,stirring with a whisk till blended.;bring to a boil. Reduce heat,and simmer 10 mins. Stir in pepper. Garnish with sage sprigs,if desired.
