Easy Cherry Tiramisu

- Serves 4
wonderful European cherry, cheese dessert tip: 4 leaves of gelatin usually equal one, 1/4 oz envelope powdered about 7 grams or 1 Tbs. Powdered vanilla sugar, just substitute 1 tsp vanilla extract Most supermarkets today carry many of the European pkg of vaniila sugar etc.
Ingredients
- 250 g mascarpone cheese shopping list
- 100 ml cold milk shopping list
- 2 heaping Tbs powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 Pkg vanilla sugar or use 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- some grated lemon zest shopping list
- 2 gelatin leaves shopping list
- 1 to 2 tbs water shopping list
- 12 Italian lady fingers , 60 grams shopping list
- 350 gm sour or pitted cherries from a jar shopping list
- 6 to 8 Tbs kirsch liquer shopping list
How to make it
- Drain cherries, reserve for another recipe
- Disslove gelatin in some water, about 1 to 2 Tbs, in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Mix marscarpone with vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and cold milk
- Combine well both mixtures together
- Stir in lemon zest.
- In each of 4 dessert glasses place 2 Tbs cherries, then some of the cheese mixture
- Then place on some crumbled Ladyfingers, about 3 per dessert glass
- Top with remaining cheese mixture
- Drizzle with Kirsch
- Chill well in the refrigerator
