Whole Wheat Beer Bread

- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 4 1/2 teas baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 teas salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 (12 fluid ounces) can or bottle beer shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degree.
- Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flours, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Pour in beer, stir until stiff batter is formed. It may be necessary to mix dough with your hands. Scrape dough into prepared pan.
- Pour 1/4 melted butter over top of bread
- Bake in preheated oven 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
