No Fail Yorkshire Puddings Recipe
A typical english roast is not complete without yorkshire pudding smothered in gravy hmmmmm heaven each Yorkshire pud should be well risen with a dip in the middle to hold the gravy

Ingredients
  • for 6-8 Yorkshire puddings (muffin tin size)
  • you want to take 3 eggs, break into a jug
  • now you want the same amount of flour as the eggs
  • and the same amount of milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbls cold water

Directions
  1. beat the eggs, flour, milk and salt till light and frothy
  2. let stand for at least an hour at room temp.
  3. using, beef drippings or oil, pop a bit into each muffin pan and into a very hot oven (400F or 200C) till the fat is smoking, about 8min.
  4. meanwhile stir batter again while adding 2 tablespoons cold water
  5. pour into hot muffin pans up to 2/3 full and pop into hot oven for about 25-30 min or until well risen and golden brown
  6. serve with your roast and veg with lashings of gravy
