Sour Cream And Chive Biscuits

- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/3 cup shortening shopping list
- 3/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh chives ; snipped shopping list
How to make it
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- With a fork, stir in sour cream, milk and chives until the mixture forms a ball.
- On a floured surface, knead 5 to 6 times.
- Roll to 3/4-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
