Florida Gators

Favorite football finger food with a citrus twist. The orange juice adds a nuance that other cheese crackers don't have. *Always been called a Florida Gator, even though there is no gator in them* Go figure.
Ingredients
- 1 jar. (1 lb.) processed cheese spread shopping list
- 1/2 cup of soft unsalted butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of orange juice concentrate, thawed, undiluted shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of grated orange rind shopping list
- 2 dashes of worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 2 cups of sifted a.p. flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup of finely chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together cheese and butter.
- Add orange juice concentrate, rind, Worchestershire sauce, and Tabasco. Sift together flour, cayenne and salt.
- Add to cheese mixture.
- Mix well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Chill until very firm. (can be frozen)
- To Bake: drop by teaspoons on baking sheet.
- Press flat with fork or with floured bottom of a drinking glass.
- Bake at 400 degrees, 7 to 8 minutes
- Prep time includes chill time/bake time per single sheet of cookies
