How to make it

  • Take a good sized skillet with at least a one inch lip
  • lightly drizzle in some oil......
  • heat the oil slowly.......this is like old time popcorn popping.....
  • take a half a handful of wild rice rice and sprinkle on very hot oil
  • when the rice pops it will fluff to white..i ladle it out of the oil and toss in another handful
  • drain on a paper towel.......
  • you can eat it like popcorn, toss it on salads......put it on loads of food as a garden garnish...its great in scrambled eggs at breakfast too..
  • dont knock it...till ya pop't it........
