How to make it

  • **May be done 1 day in advance
  • Cook green beans in boiling salted water (to cover) 3 minutes OR until crisp tender.
  • Drain.
  • Plunge beans into ice water to stop cooking process.
  • Drain.
  • Melt butter with oil in medium skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add beans, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Saute 4 to 5 minutes OR until thoroughly heated.

    I love greenbeans and garlic! Similar to a recipe I use, but this one is toned down, which was a nice change. (And the greenbeans with the butter, yummy.)Thanks ;)
