Garlic Green Beans

- 1 1.2 pounds tiny green beans (haricot verts), trimmed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- **May be done 1 day in advance
- Cook green beans in boiling salted water (to cover) 3 minutes OR until crisp tender.
- Drain.
- Plunge beans into ice water to stop cooking process.
- Drain.
- Melt butter with oil in medium skillet over medium high heat.
- Add beans, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Saute 4 to 5 minutes OR until thoroughly heated.
