Ingredients

How to make it

  • Light your grill! You want a medium heat for this recipe, may be tricky with charcoal but probably will taste better. Beware that if heat is too high you may have flameup from the oil
  • Rinse the trout and pat dry inside and out
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt and dill inside the fish
  • Mix remaining ingredients in a small dish until fully blended
  • Just before grilling brush both sides of fish liberally with mixture
  • Grill for +/- 10 minutes per side, brushing often
  • Once trout skin is sizzling and golden brown, use a fork to check doneness
  • Enjoy!

This sounds great...I haven't fixed trout on the grill in years...ex hubby used to fish, and haven't had a fisherman in the "family" in years and years...I'm gonna have to pick some up at the market and give this a try!
