Baked Spaghetti

- 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti, broken in thirds shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper, diced (opt) shopping list
- 1 small onion chopped shopping list
- 1 jar (14 oz.) meatless spaghetti sauce* shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 to 2 cups part skim mozzarella cheese, divided shopping list
- 1/4 cup egg beaters shopping list
- 1/2 cup 1% milk shopping list
- *I think the best sauce to use is Ragu 7 herb Italian but any flavor will do. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350. Cook spaghetti and drain.
- Meanwhile in a skillet cook the ground beef , red pepper, and onion and drain. Add sauces and pasta and mix well.
- In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk, and half the cheese. Add to spaghetti and toss to coat.
- Transfer to a greased 9X13 pan.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake 10 minutes longer until the cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
