Ingredients
  • 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti, broken in thirds
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced (opt)
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 jar (14 oz.) meatless spaghetti sauce*
  • 1 can (8 oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1 to 2 cups part skim mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup egg beaters
  • 1/2 cup 1% milk
  • *I think the best sauce to use is Ragu 7 Herb Italian but any flavor will do.

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cook spaghetti and drain.
  2. Meanwhile in a skillet cook the ground beef , red pepper, and onion and drain. Add sauces and pasta and mix well.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk, and half the cheese. Add to spaghetti and toss to coat.
  4. Transfer to a greased 9X13 pan.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake 10 minutes longer until the cheese is melted. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
