Thimble berries are found in Northern Michigan, North of the mackinaw Bridge. I have seen them on Drummond Island but mostly north of lift bridge.

Ingredients
  • 2 c. of Thimble berries
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 pint jars with lids, sterilized

Directions
  1. In a heavy saucepan, bring berries & sugar to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour into jars and seal.
