Shrimp And Feta Cheese Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 cloves of garlic,minced
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of white wine
  • 1 pound of linguine or other pasta of your choice
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped or a 14oz can of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 (6oz) package feta cheese, crumbled

Directions
  1. In a medium skillet, over medium heat, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. Cook shrimp, garlic and white wine for 5 minutes,or until shrimp turn pink
  3. Remove shrimp with slotted spoon and set aside
  4. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil
  5. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente; drain
  6. While pasta is cooking, cook tomatoes with remaining olive oil, oregano and basil over medium high heat in wine mixture until tender.
  7. Toss hot pasta with shrimp, tomato sauce and feta.
  8. Serve
