Anzac Biscuits cookies

- 85g - 3 oz porridge oats shopping list
- 85g - 3oz desiccated coconut shopping list
- 100g - 4 oz plain flour shopping list
- 100g - 4oz caster sugar shopping list
- 100g - 4oz butter, melted shopping list
- 1 tbsp golden syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 180C - gas 4
- put the oats, coconut, flour and sugar into a bowl
- melt the butter and stir in the golden syrup
- add the bicarb to 2 tablespoons boiling water stir into the butter mix
- make a well in the dry ing.
- pour in the butter mix and stir gently to incorporate the dry ing.
- put desert spoonfuls of the mix onto lightly greased baking sheets
- allow 1" between for spreading
- bake for 8 -10 min until golden
- cool on a wire wrack

Just the method for making these sounds intriguing, D! Now I just need to sit down with my calculator and figure out what 180°C is in Fahrenheit;-) ... and gas4? Where is my chart? You Brits always get me with that;-)
