Black Bean and Kim Chee Pork with Peppers And Onion

- 1lb pork butt and rib, cubed shopping list
- 1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1 tbsp rice wine shopping list
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- 1 tsp cornflour shopping list
- 1½ tbsp peanut oil shopping list
- 3 tbsp black bean sauce (asian most supermarkets) shopping list
- 1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 2 tbsp Kim Chee, chopped shopping list
- 1½ tbsp light soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp water shopping list
- 1 tbsp sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- Put pork in a bowl and mix with rice wine, soy sauce, sesame oil and cornflour. Marinate for about 20 minutes.
- Heat a wok or skillet until it is very hot. Add half the peanut oil and swirl.
- Lift pork out of the marinade with a slotted spoon, put it in the wok and quickly stir fry it for about 2-3 minutes until 75 percent cooked. Transfer to a bowl.
- Clean skillet, reheat it and add the rest of the oil. Quickly add the black beans, garlic, onions, pepper and Kim Chee and stir fry until soften.
- A few seconds later add the rest of the liquid ingredients.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then return the pork to the skillet and stir fry for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
