How to make it

  • Heat oil to 375
  • Cut cheese crosswise into 3/4 inch slices
  • Lay slices flat and cut in half lengthwise
  • In mixing bowl combine flour and cayenne
  • Dip cheese in egg
  • Dredge in flour mixture
  • Dip in egg again and then in breadcrumbs, pressing so they stick
  • Put onto baking sheet and freeze 1/2 hour
  • Fry in oil until golden brown
  • Drain on paper towel
  • Serve with salsa as dipping sauce
