Jack Sticks

- 2-8 oz. bars pepper Jack cheese shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 4 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 cup breadcrumbs shopping list
- canola oil to fry shopping list
- salsa for dipping shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil to 375
- Cut cheese crosswise into 3/4 inch slices
- Lay slices flat and cut in half lengthwise
- In mixing bowl combine flour and cayenne
- Dip cheese in egg
- Dredge in flour mixture
- Dip in egg again and then in breadcrumbs, pressing so they stick
- Put onto baking sheet and freeze 1/2 hour
- Fry in oil until golden brown
- Drain on paper towel
- Serve with salsa as dipping sauce

Oh, how wonderful. Much more flavorful than plain mozzarella sticks. This would be great fun to serve anytime.
