egg coffee its an oldie but a goodie Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • take an egg in the shell and wash it.
  • crack egg into coffee grounds and mix well make a paste
  • drop crushed egg shells into paste...mix
  • brew coffee and serve strained..........
  • egg shells leach out the acidity/acidic taste.. ......your coffee should be a golden brown and you may taste more coffee flavor w/out the bite

    How do you brew this coffee? There are many ways... should I just put this in my Bunn coffee maker (in the coffee basket part?), or should I boil it in a pot of water? What?

    OK...I've heard of the eggshells in the coffee grounds before but the whole egg? Someone help me out here: eggshell leaches out acidity, what does the egg do? (besides kind of make me want to say eeewwwww.) :-)

    we drank all kinds of it when i lived in central minnesota years ago.....the ladies called it swedish gasoline.....i made it this weekend again...smoooooooooooooooth
