  • 2 lbs Basic Kafta Mixture

Directions
  1. With wet fingers, mold the Kafta mixture into meat balls slightly larger than an egg
  2. Thread a skewer through each meat ball and mold the meat into a finger shape along the skewer
  3. Gently bbq or grill the meat making sure not to over cook it as it will dry out.
  4. When cooked remove meat from skewers with open pieces of Lebanese bread which are then left around the meat to make juicy sandwiches.
  5. Sandwiches are usually accompanied by hummus. If preferred Kafta may be served without bread and accompanied by a salad.
