Cheddar Cheese Truffles

- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/4 pound cream cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup softened butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry sherry shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups finely chopped toasted almonds shopping list
How to make it
- In food processor combine first 7 ingredients and process until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
- Spread almonds on plate.
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of cheese mixture into almonds and roll to coat and form balls.
- Place in fluted candy papers then cover lightly and refrigerate until ready to serve.
