How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine drained sauerkraut, onion, parsley and caraway seed.
  • Spoon mixture into a 13 by 9 in. baking dish, sprayed with Pam, spread the mixture evenly.
  • Layer with half of the cheese, half of the salad dressing and all of the meat.
  • Layer with the remaining salad dressing and cheese.
  • In a large skillet, melt the margarine. Add the bread cubes and stir until coated. Sprinkle bread cubes over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 min. or until heated through and bread cubes are browned.
