Penne With Bacon Onions And Shrimp Recipe
this is a quick and easy dish to make...i did not include how many servings... it depends on how much pasta you eat at a time !!!! the recipe is from Charles Gipe, Jr., Executive Chef at Hershey Entertainment Complex

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound sliced bacon, cut in 1/2 inch strips
  • 2 red onions, sliced thin
  • 1/2 pound shrimp; medium size, shell removed and cleaned
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 3/4 pound penne, cooked, shocked and oiled
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

Directions
  1. Cook bacon in large saute pan until golden brown.
  2. Add onion and shrimp and cook until well done.
  3. Add thyme, salt, pepper and stir well
  4. . Add the cooked penne and heat until warm.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  6. Plate on warm dinner plate and serve.
