Rosemary-Apple Pie Cake

- 3 apples shopping list
- juice of 1 / 2 lemon shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 130 g sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 150 flour shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- grated peel of 1 / 2 lemon shopping list
- 1 Tbs chopped rosemary leaves shopping list
- 110 g melted butter shopping list
- 2 Tbs water shopping list
- 1 Tbs sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs finely chopped rosemary leaves shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 180c ( 350F )
- Place peeled sliced apples in lemon juice and set aside
- Beat eggs and sugar till frothy
- Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture and gently combine in the melted butter
- Mix all together and place in a greased 24 cm baking pan
- Evenly distribute on the apples
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes
- Near the end of the baking time combine 2 Tbs water, 1 Tbs sugar and 1 Tbs chopped rosemary, bring to a boil and cook till syrupy
- Pour over cake
- Bake an additional 10 minutes
- Serve warm or room temp
