Mixed Vegetable Pakora

- 1 cup chopped, fresh spinach shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion, cut in 1/2" pieces shopping list
- 1/2 cup potato, peeled and cut in 1/2" small pieces shopping list
- 1 tsp ajwain seeds (carom seeds) shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 cup Besan /chickpea flour shopping list
- 1.5 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red chillies shopping list
- Other: shopping list
- 2 cups oil for frying shopping list
- one wok like shallow pan for frying shopping list
- One big mixing bowl shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a big bowl
- 2. Add 2 cups oil to wok
- 3. Set to medium heat and proceed to step 4 after oil is ready for frying
- 4. Using a long spoon put 1 tbsp of the vegetable mixture into the oil to fry; turning frequently
- Note: Depending on the size of your wok, 10-12 Pakoras can be fried at the same time
- 5. Fry till golden brown.
- 6. Serve hot with mint/ coriander chutney or ketchup.
