How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400
  • On floured surface, roll out pastry dough to 1/8 inch thick
  • Cut with floured heart shaped cookie cutter, different sizes if possible
  • Put on baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake for 8-10 minutes
  • Remove to cooling rack
  • Brush lightly with water
  • Sprinkle with sugar
  • In mixing bowl, add fruits and 1/4 cup sugar and blend
  • In another mixing bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken
  • Add remaining sugar and beat until soft peaks form
  • Fold sour cream into whipped cream
  • Put into serving bowl
  • Put dip bowl onto a serving platter
  • Spoon berries onto platter and top with puff pastry hearts
