Summer Love Fruit Salad

This is a great summer salad....Change the shape of the puff pastry to suit the occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry shopping list
- 1-2 tbls. water shopping list
- 1 tbls. turbinado sugar shopping list
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries shopping list
- 1 cup fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tbls. sugar, divided shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400
- On floured surface, roll out pastry dough to 1/8 inch thick
- Cut with floured heart shaped cookie cutter, different sizes if possible
- Put on baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake for 8-10 minutes
- Remove to cooling rack
- Brush lightly with water
- Sprinkle with sugar
- In mixing bowl, add fruits and 1/4 cup sugar and blend
- In another mixing bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken
- Add remaining sugar and beat until soft peaks form
- Fold sour cream into whipped cream
- Put into serving bowl
- Put dip bowl onto a serving platter
- Spoon berries onto platter and top with puff pastry hearts
