SAUSAGE PIEROGI SKILLET

- 1pkg (16.9 oz) frozen potato and onion pierogies shopping list
- 2 TB butter divided shopping list
- 2 TB vegetable oil, divided shopping list
- 1 pkg smoked turkey sausage or kielbasa.... cut in half lengthwise and sliced into 1/2" pieces shopping list
- 1 med. onion, sliced shopping list
- 1 pkg coleslaw mix (16oz) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp celery salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
How to make it
- cook pierogies according to pkg directions
- meanwhile, in a lg skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tb butter w/ 1 Tb oil.
- add sausage and onion;
- cook and stir for 2 min.
- add the remaining ingredients.
- cook and stir for 1-2min longer or until coleslaw is wilted.
- Remove from the heat but keep warm.
- In another lg skillet, heat remaining butter and oil.
- Drain pierogies; add to skillet.
- Cook and stir until
- browned; add the sausage mixture and toss to coat. discard bay leaf.
