Parmesan Rounds

- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/8 tsp red pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 2 tbls cold water shopping list
- 2 tbls finely chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 tbl parsly flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Combine parmesan cheese, flour, and red pepper; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Sprinkle cold water (1 tbls at a time) evenly over surface; stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch thick log and set aside.
- Combine walnuts and parsley in a shallow pan; roll log in mixture to coat evenly.
- Cut log with a serrated knife into 1/4 inch slices; place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on a wire rack.
- Store crackers in a tightly covered container.
- These crackers will freeze well. Yield is 2 dozen.
