Super delicious, rich creamy taste of butter, plus butter milk. Awesome!

Ingredients
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream for 1.5 cups butter and 2 cups buttermilk

Directions
  1. I used my Kitchen Aid stand-alone mixer for this but I've read that a tightly sealed jar with clean marbles will work.
  2. Pour heavy whipping cream in mixer
  3. Mix on medium-high speed for about 20 minutes. Check it every 3-5 minutes.
  4. Once clumps of butter start to form, take a clean cloth(I used a linen piece of fabric) put half the butter in it and over a dish squeeze out the buttermilk.
  5. Repeat the process for the rest of the butter.
  6. IMPORTANT: If you do not use the butter the same day it's important to get all the buttermilk out or it will sour, making the butter taste bad.
  7. Use butter and buttermilk as you wish, I made cookies and they were amazing!
