Ingredients

3 qts. water

1tablespoon salt

1large chicken breast

1/2 cup butter

4 cups canned tomatoes chopped

1 cup chopped onions

2 cups potatoes peeled and cubed

6 cups shredded cabbage

2 tablespoon fine dill

3/4 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup grated carrots

1 large beet root peeled and grated

Sour cream to add when you're eating it, which makes the soup look pink!

Directions

In a large pot bring water salt, chicken breast and cubed potatoes to a boil. Then keep boiling it on med. heat while you're saute the rest of the ingredients and adding them in to the pot.

Take 1 tablespoon of butter and saute with 1/4 cup of onions and 4 cups of tomatoes,till the onions are soft

Add them to the pot with chicken and potatoes

Saute 2 tablespoon of butter ,carrots and celery and 1/4 cup of onions

when the veggies are tender add them to the pot, with shredded beet

Saute the rest of the butter with 1/2 cup of onion till golden then add the cabbage and make sure it doesn't brown on the bottom, just till cabbage is tender

Add to the pot with dill

Fork out the chicken breast and cut it bite size and put it back into the pot

Salt and pepper to taste

Add 1/2 teaspoon of sour cream to each bowl of soup

Enjoy!
